1 Introduction

3 Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To file a DMCA takedown notice with Folloverse, you must provide a written notification that includes all of the information required by Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA. Your notice must be sent to our designated agent at:
Folloverse will process and respond to valid DMCA notices expeditiously, typically within 24-48 hours of receipt.
4 Required Information for a Valid Notice
To be effective under the DMCA, your takedown notice must include the following information:
- 1. Identification of the copyrighted work:
Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list. - 2. Identification of the infringing material:
Identify the material that is claimed to be infringing and provide sufficient information to locate the material on Folloverse (e.g., URL link to the specific post, profile, or product). - 3. Contact information:
Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so that Folloverse can contact you. - 4. Good faith statement:
Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. - 5. Accuracy statement:
Include a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. - 6. Physical or electronic signature:
Provide a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
5 Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our designated DMCA agent.
Required Information for Counter-Notice
Your counter-notice must include:
- 1. Your physical or electronic signature.
- 2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- 3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- 4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
- 5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the District of Delaware if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.
Counter-Notice Process

- If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, Folloverse may restore the removed content.
6 Repeat Infringer Policy
Folloverse has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
Users who receive multiple valid DMCA takedown notices may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated at Folloverse's sole discretion.

Legal Consequences of False Claims
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Please ensure that you have a valid legal basis before filing a DMCA notice or counter-notice. Folloverse takes false claims seriously and may take action against users who abuse the DMCA process.
